Each of our 8 well-appointed rooms is different at Southern Fried
Rice Guesthouse, to accomodate guests with varying budgets - all
come equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fan, cable TV, minibar,
king-size bed, and a code-operated safe for your comfort and security.
Local artists and craftspeople have been engaged to provide a cultural
experience in your rooms.
All rooms except our budget "Traveler Room" feature en
suite bathrooms with hot showers and private wc.
Free Wi-Fi / free airport pick-up
Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, and is free to guests.
Prices range from 400 Baht per night up to 2,400 Baht for the "Kai
Suite" (according to season and the level of the room), and
include a complimentary continental breakfast. Stay for a minimum
of 5 nights and we will pick you up at the airport free (usual price
600 Baht, not applicable for the Traveler's Lodge).

Room 1 :
The Traveler's Lodge
Small, but perfectly formed, the Traveler's Lodge is
ideal for those on a tight budget. The room has all the facilities
of the other rooms including a king-sized bed and the in-room safe
(but the bathroom is not en suite).
Air-conditioning, definitely not a necessity when there is a cool sea breeze (depending on season), is optional. |

Room 2 :
Big Standard
Room 2 is our biggest standard room, on the first floor. With space for seating and an extra bed if desired (for only 300 Baht including breakfast), this is the perfect family room.

Room 3 : Standard
Even our standard rooms are spacious, and Room 3 is
a very comfortable room with all the facilities you need. Overlooking
the street, there are extra windows for more light.

Room 4 : Balcony
Room 4 is a beautifully decorated room on the quieter second floor, with a
balcony facing towards the beach, for utmost relaxation.

Room 5 : Standard
Also on the top floor, Room 5 is a fine standard
room overlooking the small street in front of the guesthouse.

Room 6 : Hill View
Also on the top floor, Room 6 is a light and airy large standard room
with a view to the hills behind Kata Beach.

Room 7 :
The Kai Suite
The Kai Suite is our best room, spacious with comfortable
seating, balcony with a lounger and table, large en suite bathroom
and all the usual facilities, situated on the top floor of the hotel
with a view towards the beach.
